| The 10:30 am service on Sunday, August 24 at the Unitarian
Universalists of Sterling is“Awe and Reason: Universalism meets
Unitarianism” with Rev. Anya. Sammler-Michael. Unitarians joined with
Universalists in 1962 by way of a long-considered merger. Two very
different faiths and communities of people were suddenly joined in the
practice of building a common hope. What has been gained by joining the
two streams of faith? What are Unitarian Universalists still struggling
to unite?
